Income Details

Your total income from all sources (employment, bonuses, etc.) for the year.

Salary, bonuses, commissions from employment. Used to compute CPF contributions.

Rental income, dividends, interest, director fees, or other taxable sources.

Residents pay progressive rates. Non‑residents pay 15% or resident rates (whichever higher). Expat first year may have special treatment.

CPF & SRS Contributions

Tax deductible. Default is calculated as 20% of employment income (under age 55). Override if different.

Supplementary Retirement Scheme contributions are tax deductible. Max S$15,300 for residents, S$35,700 for foreigners.

Tax Reliefs (For Residents)

S$1,000 for all taxpayers. Higher for seniors aged 55+ (S$6,000) or 60+ (S$8,000).

S$2,000 if spouse earned ≤ S$4,000. Higher for handicapped spouse (S$5,500).

S$4,000 per child (under 16) or S$3,000 for student. Higher for handicapped child (S$5,000). Working mother may claim up to S$50,000.

S$9,000 per parent (age 55+ living with you) or S$5,500 if not living with you. Parent must have income ≤ S$4,000.

Up to S$5,500 per year for courses related to employment.

Tax paid overseas on income also taxable in Singapore. Claim under Double Taxation Agreement.
